Naval Reserve Programs

Reserve Montgomery GI Bill
Naval Reserve Enlisted Medical Programs

Reserve Montgomery GI Bill
Selected Reservists are entitled to Montgomery GI Bill benefits, which provides a maximum benefit of $6,923.  For further eligibility requirements, contact the service representative in your area.  Unlike the Montgomery GI Bill for active duty forces, there is no reduction in Reserve pay for this benefit.

Naval Reserve Enlisted Medical Programs
Naval Reserve Enlisted Medical Programs are available to actively drilling enlisted Hospital Corpsmen (HM) and Dental Technicians (DT). These Naval Reservists attend equivalent civilian training at a local college for certain critical Navy skills in a medical field that are difficult to acquire, such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and biomedical repair. Tuition, fees, books, required clothing, and required equipment are paid for by the Naval Reserve. Participants are authorized simultaneous Reserve Montgomery GI Bill benefits, if eligible.
