PAL-NYC Top Gun Programs

A joint partnership between the Navy Memorial and the Police Athletic League (PAL) of New York brings several inner-city teenagers from the Bronx and Brooklyn to Washington for a customized tour and orientation.  The students interact with sailors from commands in the national capital region, including the Navy Ceremonial Guard, and they enjoy a personal tour by midshipmen at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The PAL program provides these youngsters with a respect for and understanding of the responsibilities and the career opportunities that are available to them in the Sea Services.

To learn more about the PAL program, call Mark Hacala at 202-380-0735 or mhacala@navymemorial.org.
