Fantail Breakfasts

The Navy Memorial hosted its first 2008 Fantail Breakfast on February 13 at 8:00 a.m. The guest speaker was:

The Navy Memorial’s quarterly Fantail Breakfasts provide corporate sponsors with the opportunity to interact with senior government officials in a small gathering and discuss topics of mutual interest “off the record.”  The “fantail” is the place on a Navy ship where members of the crew gather to exchange information, share experiences or build camaraderie.  The Navy Memorial Fantail Breakfasts capture those traditions.  If you are interested in attending or hosting a Fantail Breakfast, please contact M.C. The Fantail Breakfast are held regularly to bring together business, government, and military leaders who share and interest in the Sea Services and maritime issues.

The Series draws its inspiration from the fantail of any ship where captains, chiefs and seamen alike can often be found with an opinion and a cup of coffee.
